Mattie J. Bieberly MA
Bio
Academically trained to examine things through a historical and political lens, I find myself continuing to challenge myself in different roles. I have run multiple non-profits, worked in Development, including Capital Campaigns, and have learned many other skillsets for activism within and outside my current city.
Education
My educational background has allowed me to utilize my knowledge and skillsets learned throughout my academic career and apply them to my every day work. I graduated from the University of Kansas with a BA in History (with Honors) and in Political Science with a minor in Middle East Studies. I then accepted a position on the International Relations Cohort at the University of Chicago where I received my MA.
Experiences
I see each opportunity, whether through volunteering or employment, as a new experience to add to my portfolio. I currently work in Development for a private high school in Kansas City as well as taking on the role of Director of Communications for a nationwide non-profit. More of these experiences can be found in my resume.
